To provide a pile for a trestle which can reliably fix the trestle even if excessive force is imparted thereto, and facilitates removal work of an installation object and the trestle.SOLUTION: A pile 1 for a trestle for fixing a trestle K for installing an installation object such as a manufacture and a structure to the ground surface includes: a body member 2 which is mounted on the tip of a pipi-like member P, is formed into a sharpened tip and can be driven into the ground; and a slip-off preventing member 4 which is displaceable to a projection state from a retracted state relative to a tapered surface 2a of the body member 2, maintains the retracted state when the body member 2 is driven into the ground, is set to the projection state in a state where the body member 2 is driven into the ground, and can project from the tapered surface 2a of the body member 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
