DOOR OPENING ASSISTING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING DOOR OPENING ASSISTING DEVICE
To provide a door opening assisting device with a simple structure, capable of reducing an initial opening force in opening a door.SOLUTION: The door opening assisting device comprises: a door side member attached to a door supported in a frame part provided in an opening part of a wall part so as to allow opening/closing of the opening part; and a pressing device attached to either a structure surrounding the frame part or the frame part, which presses the door side member towards an opening side. The door side member has a pressed part provided nearer to a door end than the door and positioned nearer to an opening side in a depth direction than the door. The pressing device includes: an opposing part positioned nearer to a closing side of the door than the pressed part, opposing the pressed part in the depth direction; an operation part connected to the door end side of the opposing part and exposed towards the opening side in the depth direction; and a conversion part that converts a force applied to the operation part in a direction different from the opening side in the depth direction, to a force in the direction in which the opposing part moves towards the opening side in the depth direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
