To provide a wanderer monitoring device capable of acquiring appearance information.SOLUTION: A wanderer monitoring device comprises: an imaging apparatus which is provided in an opening of a building and images an internal part of the building; a human detection sensor which detects a human body in the internal part, which faces the opening, of the building; a transmission destination holding section which holds information relating to a transmission destination of detection information of the human body; a communication section which transmits/receives the detection information of the human body via a communication line; and a control section by which, when the human detection sensor detects the human body, the imaging apparatus is caused to image the internal part of the building and store a picked-up image in a preset storage section and the communication section is caused to transmit at least the detection information of the human body to the transmission destination held by the transmission destination holding section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
