To provide a water closet that can generate electricity without deteriorating toilet bowl cleaning performance and dirt discharge performance.SOLUTION: A water closet 1 of the present invention comprises a toilet bowl body 2 and a washing water supply device 4, in which the washing water supply device has a water supply channel 56 through which washing water supplied from a water supply source passes, a water supply part 34 that includes a solenoid valve 52 that opens and closes the water supply channel and supplies and stops the washing water in the water supply channel, and a controller 42 that controls operation of the solenoid valve of the water supply part, the water supply channel has main water supply channels 56a, 56b that supply the washing water used for cleaning a toilet bowl in a bowl part 6 of the toilet bowl body to the toilet bowl body, and replenishment channels 88, 90 that branch off from the main water supply channels and supply the replenishment water that is used to form a seal in the toilet bowl body to the toilet bowl body, and a replenishment channel is provided with a power generation device 74 that generates electricity by using the water flow W1 of the replenishment water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
