BASE ISOLATION BUILDING
To provide a base isolation building capable of suppressing the damage of an upper structure by effectively rotating the upper structure when an earthquake occurs, compared with a case where the center of gravity of the upper structure and the center of rotation of the upper structure overlap each other when viewed from above.SOLUTION: A base isolation building is provided with an upper structure, and a support part for supporting the upper structure via a base isolation bearing so that the upper structure rotates around a position different from the center of gravity of the upper structure when viewed from above.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
