To provide a foreign matter collecting device of a drain passage, capable of facilitating regular maintenance of the drain passage by enabling a collecting section to be easily attached/detached to/from the drain passage.SOLUTION: A foreign matter collecting device of a drain passage includes an insertion member 3 capable of being detachably attached to an opening part 23 that opens laterally in a pipe axis direction of a drain passage 1, where the insertion member 3 is configured of a first collection part 4 that collects foreign matters in the drain passage 1 and a closing part 31 in which the first collection part 4 is disposed and which closes the opening part 23 of the drain passage 1, and the opening part 23 and the closing part 31 are connected with each other in a watertight manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
