To provide a colored aggregate that allows waste rubber or slag to be recycled, is highly safe, and can greatly improve the aesthetics of a product using the colored aggregate, and a pavement block that has functions such as ease of walking by using the colored aggregate.SOLUTION: Provided is a colored aggregate 30 including a core material 30a constituted by waste rubber or slag, and a covering layer H covering the core material 30a, wherein the covering layer H is constituted by one or more colored resin layers when the core material 30a is waste rubber, and is constituted by a plurality of colored cement layers when the core material 30a is slag. 【課題】廃ゴム若しくはスラグのリサイクル化が可能であると共に、安全性が高く、着色骨材を用いた製品の美観を大幅に向上させることが可能な着色骨材及び前記着色骨材を用いた歩き易さ等の機能を備えた舗装用ブロックの提供を課題とする。【解決手段】廃ゴム若しくはスラグで構成される芯材３０ａと、芯材３０ａを被覆する被覆層Ｈとを備え、被覆層Ｈが、芯材３０ａが廃ゴムである場合には着色された１乃至複数の樹脂層で構成され、芯材３０ａがスラグである場合には着色された複数のセメント層で構成される着色骨材３０及び前記着色骨材３０を備える舗装用ブロックである。【選択図】 図２
