METHOD FOR PRODUCING RECYCLED REFRACTORY RAW MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING REFRACTORY PRODUCT
To provide a method for producing a recycled refractory raw material in which a carbon content of the recycled refractory raw material can be sufficiently reduced by heat treatment at a lower temperature than that of conventional technologies, and to provide a method for producing a refractory product using the recycled refractory raw material as a raw material.SOLUTION: A method for producing a recycled refractory raw material includes: a granulation step of granulating a carbon-containing refractory brick to obtain a granulated brick; and a heating step of heating the granulated brick in an externally heating rotary kiln in the presence of an oxidizing gas to produce the recycled refractory raw material, wherein a heating temperature in the heating step is 850°C or more and 1,000°C or less, and a heating time in the heating step is 4 hours or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
