To provide means for placing a solar cell module on the roof of a freezing warehouse or a refrigerating warehouse at a lower cost.SOLUTION: A support unit used for placing a solar battery module on the roof of a freezing and refrigeration warehouse comprises a heat insulating layer 4 on a roof base body having a deck plate 1 and an H-steel 2 for supporting the deck plate 1 from below. The support unit comprises a steel pipe 3 penetrating the heat insulating layer 4, a mounting plate 8 that is mounted on the upper end of the steel pipe 3 and to which a solar battery module is mounted, and a heat insulating block 9 disposed between the lower end of the steel pipe 3 and one flange side 2a of the H-steel 2 and composed of a fiber reinforced resin-foamed body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
