WATER INTAKE DEVICE
To provide a water intake device that can appropriately adjust an amount of water introduced from a waterway to a water intake channel.SOLUTION: A water intake device 1 is attached to a water intake port Ci of a water intake channel Cb branched from a waterway Ca, and includes: an intake part 30 that is pivotably provided with respect to the water intake port Ci and takes in a part of the water flowing through the waterway Ca; and a peripheral side plate 33 that extends from a pivoting tip side part of the intake part 30 toward a downstream side of the water intake channel Cb and guides the water taken into the intake part 30 to the water intake channel Cb. By pivoting the intake part 30 toward the waterway Ca, the peripheral side plate 33 projects into an interior of the waterway Ca together with the intake part 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
