To provide a compaction machine exerting a high compaction effect while maintaining stability and ease of handling.SOLUTION: The compaction machine includes: a pressuring unit 2 having a plate-like shape, which comes into contact with an object to be pressurized; an engine 4 placed behind the pressuring unit 2; a vibration generation unit 5 capable of vibrating, which is placed in the front of pressuring unit 2; and a transmission mechanism 6 that transmits the rotational force of the engine to the vibration generation unit 5. The vibration generation unit 5 includes: a first vibration generation shaft 8 and a second vibration generation shaft 9 which are placed parallel to each other and spaced apart; a first eccentric weight 8a provided to the first vibration generation shaft 8; and a second eccentric weight 9a provided to the second vibration generation shaft 9. Viewed from the side, the first vibration generation shaft 8 and the second vibration generation shaft 9 rotate in opposite directions respectively, and the first eccentric weight 8a and the second eccentric weight 9a rotate in the same phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
