To provide a column connecting tool with excellent versatility and workability that allows selection of a distance between connected columns, is difficult to be restricted by installation locations of the columns, and can be applied to a building of various shapes to reliably install scaffolding along the perimeter of the building.SOLUTION: There is provided a connection pipe material 16, in which one side of a first pipe portion 12 and the other side of a second pipe portion 13 are rotatably connected around a vertical rotational axis 15 in a horizontal plane via rotational connection means 14. Vertical wedge materials 21 are attached to the other end of the first pipe portion 12 and one end of the second pipe portion 13, so as to be detachably inserted to a U-shaped mating portion 20 in plan view provided on a side portion of respective adjacent columns 11. The rotational connection means 14 has: a connection holding portion 17 attached to one side of the first pipe portion 12 and holding the other side of the second pipe portion 13 from above and below; a bolt penetrating the connection holding portion 17 and the second pipe portion 13 to serve as the vertical rotational axis 15; and a nut 18 screwed onto the bolt.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
