To provide an alkali-silica reaction-inhibiting material capable of being produced in a short time without using an expensive lithium-based material and having excellent alkali-silica reaction-inhibiting effect, a method for producing the alkali-silica reaction-inhibiting material, and a method for inhibiting an alkali-silica reaction.SOLUTION: This invention relates to: an alkali-silica reaction-inhibiting material in which at least a part of alkali ions of natural zeolite are ion-exchanged to hydrogen ions by acid treatment; and a method for producing the alkali-silica reaction inhibiting material, comprising ion-exchanging the alkali ions to hydrogen ions by the acid treatment of the natural zeolite.SELECTED DRAWING: None
