To provide a waterproof device which can be installed to an opening section whose opening has having a lower end at a position higher than the ground.SOLUTION: A waterproof device 1 installed to an opening section whose opening has a lower end at a position higher than the ground, the waterproof device including a stop water seat 11 for covering at least the lower side of the opening section to improve the waterproof property of at least the lower side of the opening section, and a mounting member 12 for mounting at least a part of the stop water seat 11 so as to be able to stop water to a frame body (vertical frame 22, lower frame 23 of a shutter frame) for installing an opening/closing body (shutter curtain S) for opening/closing the opening section in the vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
