PENETRATION RESISTANCE REDUCTION DEVICE AND PENETRATION METHOD FOR SUCTION STRUCTURE
To provide a penetration resistance reduction device and a penetration method for a suction structure which can reduce penetration resistance of a skirt part without installing a configuration for countermeasures against penetration resistance reduction in a suction foundation structure.SOLUTION: A penetration resistance reduction device 1 for reducing penetration resistance of a cylindrical skirt part 13 when a suction structure 10 having the skirt part 13 is penetrated into a water bottom ground using an inside-and-outside pressure difference (suction) of the skirt part 13 by discharge water includes a lubricant spray pipe 2 buried in a water bottom surface X in a state of being wound along the outer peripheral surface of the skirt part 13, and a lubricant supply device 3 for supplying a lubricant material L to the lubricant spray pipe 2, wherein in the lubricant spray pipe 2, spray holes 21 for spraying the lubricant material L onto the water bottom surface X are formed at such intervals as to evenly spread to the water bottom surface X where the lubricant material L is brought into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the skirt part 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
