To provide buildings and architectural structures that can both simplify the structure and improve exterior design.SOLUTION: A building concerning this invention comprises a top floor section and an optional floor section, in which a top beam of the top floor section comprises a first beam section extending in a straight line across the full width of the top floor section in the facade front view, a top beam of the optional floor section comprises a second beam section extending in a straight line across the full width of the optional floor section in the facade front view, and a third beam section that supports the outdoor floor plate section of the immediate upper floor and extends in a straight line across the full width of the outdoor floor plate section in the front facade view. The outdoor floor plate section comprises an eave-shaped section, and further comprises a first independent wall section that supports the eave-shaped section from below in the vertical direction, and separates the outdoor spaces of the building from each other, and a second independent wall section that is positioned to overlap with the perimeter wall section of at least one of the levels from the immediate upper floor to the uppermost floor in the side view, and separates the outdoor spaces of the building from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
