WINDOW STILE OR WINDOW FRAME
To provide a window stile or a window frame capable of visually checking to which part an adhesive should be applied at a circumferential outside end of a window glass facing surface, and preventing the adhesive pressed between one surface of a peripheral edge part of the window glass and the circumferential outside of the window glass facing surface from flowing to the circumferential inside.SOLUTION: A window stile 4 or a window frame has, on the inner side in the circumferential direction, a window glass facing surface 32 on which an air-tight material 24 is mounted or integrally formed. The air-tight material 24 has a main section 36 extending in the circumferential direction and an inclined inner air-tight section 40 protruding from the inner end in the circumferential direction of the main section 36 toward the inner side in the circumferential direction and toward a window glass 10. An outer protrusion 42 protruding toward the window glass 10 is formed on the outer end in the circumferential direction of the main section 36. The outer surface in the circumferential direction of the protruding end surface of the outer protrusion 42 is a flat surface extending perpendicularly to the window glass facing surface 32. An adhesive 48 is applied to a region on the outer side in the circumferential direction of the outer protrusion of the main section 36 of the air-tight material 24 on the window glass facing surface 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】窓ガラス対向面の周方向外側端において、如何なる部位まで接着剤を塗布すべきかを目視によって確認でき、窓ガラスの周縁部片面と窓ガラス対向面の周方向外側の間で押圧された接着剤が周方向内側に流動することが防止される窓框又は窓枠を提供する。【解決手段】窓框４又は窓枠において、周方向内側部には気密材２４が装着又は一体に形成される窓ガラス対向面３２を有する。気密材２４は周方向に延在する主部３６と主部３６の周方向内側端から周方向内側に向かって且つ窓ガラス１０に向かって突出する傾斜内側気密部４０を有する。主部３６の周方向外側端部には窓ガラス１０に向けて突出する外側突条４２が形成される。外側突条４２の突出端面の周方向外側面は窓ガラス対向面３２に対して垂直に延在する平面である。窓ガラス対向面３２における、気密材２４の主部３６の外側突条よりも周方向外側の領域に接着剤４８が塗布される。【選択図】図２
