To provide a decorative material capable of being easily constructed with good finish regardless of a worker skill, and a construction structure and a construction method for the decorative material.SOLUTION: A decorative material 10 is provided with a base material 11 in a rectangular plate shape, and a surface material 12 bonded on a surface of the base material 11. A thickness of the base material is set to be 5 mm or less. The surface material 12 is made in a size so as to be protruded from four sides of the base material 11, and protruding widths of four excess parts 12a,...12a protruded from the four sides of the base material 11 are longer than the thickness of the base material 11 by 5 mm or more.
