WOOD REINFORCEMENT MEMBER AND WOOD REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE
To provide a wood reinforcement member and a wood reinforcement structure that can reinforce openings provided in wood with little effect on the appearance and design of the wood and with a high reinforcement effect on the opening, in reinforcing the openings.SOLUTION: A wood reinforcement member 10, which reinforces from an opening 23 in a side 21 of wood 20 to a through-hole 25 connecting to the opening 23, comprises: a frame-shaped opening reinforcing piece 15 which is engaged with the side 21 around the opening 23 and reinforces the periphery of the opening 23; and a cylindrical or rectangular through-hole reinforcing piece 16, which is inserted into the through-hole 25 continuously with the opening reinforcing piece 15 to reinforce the through-hole 25. The opening reinforcing piece 15 and the through-hole reinforcing piece 16 contain a plurality of long fiber materials 11, 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
