To configure a push latch in a smaller size.SOLUTION: A push latch 1 comprises a first guide projection 15, which holds a movable member 30, in the process of moving the movable member 30 from a state of being released from being held in a case member 10 to a state of being held, after the movable member 30 moves in a pushing direction and comes in contact with a first contacting portion 33 to move the first contacting portion 33 to a side of being separated from a predetermined position, and a second guide projection 16 which causes the first contacting portion 33 to return to the predetermined position, in the process of moving the movable member 30 from the state of being held in the case member 10 to the state of being released from being held, after the movable member 30 moves in the pushing direction during a state in which the first contacting portion 33 contacts with the first guide projection 15 and then the first contacting portion 33 comes in contact with the movable member 30.
