To efficiently charge a plurality of battery packs.SOLUTION: An electric working machine comprises a plurality of battery packs, an operation apparatus, each battery monitoring device, and a control device. The control device carries out: a desired value setting process for setting a first desired value; a first charging process for determining one of battery packs whose remaining capacity is less than the first desired value as a battery pack for charging, and charging the determined battery pack for charging with a constant current until its remaining capacity reaches the first desired value; a second charging process for switching battery packs for charging when the remaining capacity of the battery pack for charging reaches the first desired value and charging a battery pack for charging after switching with the constant current until its remaining capacity reaches the first desired value; and a third charging process for determining one of the battery packs whose remaining capacity is less than a second desired value that is larger than the first desired value to be a battery pack for charging when there is no battery pack whose remaining capacity is less than the first desired value, and charging the determined battery pack for charging with the constant current until its remaining capacity reaches the second desired value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
