STORAGE ROOM LOCK
To solve the problem that it is troublesome to maintain permission to access a protected storage room, when a storage room security door may require access by various persons concerned.SOLUTION: A storage room lock comprises a lock housing mounted on the storage room door, and a lock mechanism arranged within the lock housing. The lock mechanism includes: a latch selectively operable between a locked position in which the latch extending from the latch housing engages with a door frame supporting the storage room door to inhibit opening of the storage room door, and an unlocked position in which the latch is retracted to the latch housing and disengaged from the door frame, and the storage room door is opened to allow storage; and a latch control system selectively operable between a restricted state that inhibits a movement of the latch released from the locked position, and an unrestricted state that allows the movement of the latch released from the locked position. The latch control system disables the unrestricted state in response to an instruction for over-locking that makes the latch impossible to unlock.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
