To provide a rain gutter constituting member capable of having a proper fitting force with a fitting counterpart member and suppressing the risk of water leakage with the fitting counterpart member.SOLUTION: A rain gutter constituting member such as the lower vertical joint 20 has a cylindrical part 21 connected by inserting and fitting the cylindrical member of a rain gutter. The rain gutter constituting member includes at least one rib 24 provided in a circumferential direction part of an inner wall 22 of the cylindrical part 21 so as to project inward of the cylindrical part 21. The rib 24 has a tip surface having both circumferential ends connected to the inner wall 22 of the cylindrical part 21. The cross-sectional shape orthogonal to the axial direction of the cylindrical part 21 of the rib 24 has an end edge that is an arc or a straight line larger than the radius of curvature of an axial part of the inner wall 22 of the cylindrical part 21 to which the rib 24 is connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
