To provide a roof structure which does not wet an object under a roof, the ground or the like even if rainwater is flooded from an abutting surface between a solar cell module and a frame fitted with the solar cell module, and its construction method.SOLUTION: In a roof structure (1) having, on a roof body (12), a frame constituting member constituting a mounting frame on which a solar cell module (11) is mounted, wherein a first frame constituting member (8) comprises a solar cell module supporting part for supporting the solar cell module (11) on an erected surface erected against a first abutting surface with the solar cell module (11) and a first gutter part having an opening below it that is wider to the outside than the end part of an erection surface, a second frame constituting member (10) comprises a second gutter part which is opened in a direction perpendicular to a second contact surface with the solar cell module (11).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
