To provide a method for dismantling radiation facilities that has minimal impact on surrounding environment.SOLUTION: A method for dismantling a radiation facility 10 equipped with a laminated shielding material 12 includes: a ceiling portion exposure step in which a part of the shielding material 12 is exposed; a cutting step in which an exposed portion 32 of the shielding material 12 is cut using a gas cutting device to separate while being lifted; and a removal step in which a cut shielding material 64, which is the separated portion of the exposed portion 32, is removed.
