To provide a foundation member for a solar panel installation that can improve drainage of a flat roof.SOLUTION: A foundation member 8 for a solar panel installation supporting a solar panel installed on a flat roof consists of a plate with a rectangular periphery in plan view and a plurality of bolt holes 8 g, 8i penetrating through the plate in a thickness direction, and these bolt holes 8 g, 8i are bolted together so that each side of the rectangle is oriented at an angle to the drainage slope in the flat roof, and the solar panel and the foundation member 8 for a solar panel installation are in a twisted position in a horizontal plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
