BURIED OBJECT GRIPPING DEVICE AND PILE CUTTING DEVICE EQUIPPED THEREWITH
To make it difficult for the gripped state to be released even if a force is applied from an underground buried object when the buried object is gripped.SOLUTION: A buried object gripping device 2 includes a cylindrical body 3 buried in the ground 9 so that a buried object in the ground 9 passes through it along its central axis, and a shell structure 4 provided on the cylindrical body 3 and switchable between a non-contact position away from the buried object and a contact position in which the shell structure comes into contact with the buried object. The shell structure 4 includes a shell portion 41 formed in an arc shape in a top view when the shell structure 4 is switched to the non-contact position, a shaft portion 43 that supports the shell portion 41 rotatably relative to the cylindrical body 3 with a rotation axis extending parallel to a chord 42 of the shell portion 41 when viewed from above, and a blade portion 44 provided at an upper end of the shell portion 41 when the shell structure 4 is switched to the non-contact position and that comes into contact with the buried object when the shell structure 4 is switched to the contact position by rotating around the rotation axis of the shaft portion 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
