BASE PART OF GRAVESTONE
To provide a base part of a gravestone which does not require a special gravestone and can realize a graveyard with improved design by utilizing light reflection at a low cost by providing water storage means in the base part of the gravestone.SOLUTION: Provided is a base part 1 of a gravestone including a wall portion 11 surrounding the site, and a base foundation portion 12 located on the site, covering the site surrounded by the wall portion 11. The base part 1 has a water storage space, which is a space surrounded by an inner side surface 111 of the wall portion and a top surface 121 of the base foundation portion, and is provided with water storage means 13 for storing water W in the space. The water storage space is located at least in front of a gravestone T, and is intended to reflect at least substantially the entire gravestone on the top surface of the stored water. Furthermore, the base foundation portion 12 has a pedestal portion 14 located on the top surface 121 of the base foundation portion and serving as a pedestal for the gravestone T, and the top surface area of the pedestal portion 14 is equal to or less than the area of the bottom surface of the lowest part of the gravestone.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 24
