To provide a brace member whose length is adjustable according to the diagonal length of a frame body after adjusting the width dimension of the frame body such as a gate door and a fence.SOLUTION: A brace member, which connects opposing corner portions of a frame body having a pair of vertical frames and a pair of horizontal frames, includes a pair of end portion members whose one ends are attached to the corner portions, and a rod-shaped connecting portion for connecting the other ends of the end portion members to each other, and the other ends of the end portion members include insertion holes into which the connecting portion can be inserted, and fixing means for fixing the connecting portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
