    To provide a ceramic composition having excellent porous structure that achieves good collection and storage function, good strength, and good abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: A ceramic composition contains a sintered compact having a porous structure. The porous structure is composed of a part and/or the whole of tubular particles. The tubular particle has a side wall having the porous structure composed of pores. The pores are in an approximately cylindrical shape or an approximately polygonal shape including hexagonal or more columnar shape. The pores are open holes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
