To provide a wraparound prevention fence which can maintain a function as the handrail that can be safely grabbed as usual while preventing damages at earthquakes.SOLUTION: A wraparound prevention fence is installed on an escalator entrance comprising a floor structure in which an escalator-side floor part 20 formed on the entrance of an escalator 2 and a floor-side floor part 30 on a building frame 3 side arranged at an interval from the escalator side floor part 20 can be relatively displaced at earthquakes. The wraparound prevention fence includes a pair of columnar supports 41, 42 supported by each of the escalator-side floor part 20 and the floor-side floor part 30, a handrail frame 5 fixed to the upper end part of either one of the pair of columnar supports 41, 42, and a horizontal member 6 connected to the pair of columnar supports 41, 42 and extending horizontally. The horizontal member 6 is provided with a movable joint part 60 with a variable length at a longitudinal intermediate part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
