VERTICALLY-THATCHED ROOF RETAINING CLIP, AND VERTICALLY-THATCHED ROOF STRUCTURE
To provide a retaining clip and a roof structure for placing a thermal insulation material on a roof substrate and attaching a vertically-thatched roof material onto the thermal insulation material.SOLUTION: A vertically-thatched roof retaining clip has a fixed portion at a lower end, a vertical surface erected upward from the fixed portion, and a roof material engagement portion at an upper part of the vertical surface. A protruding piece protruding obliquely downward is formed on both surfaces of the vertical surface. In the vertically-thatched roof structure, the vertically-thatched roof retaining clip of Claim 1 is used, in which the fixed portion is fixed to a roof substrate by a fastener, the protruding piece bites into an end of a thermal insulation material installed adjacently to the vertically-thatched roof retaining clip, and a vertically-thatched roof material laid on a top surface of the thermal insulation material engages with the roof material engagement portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
