MARKING DEVICE AND MARKING SYSTEM
To provide a marking device which can be designed compactly.SOLUTION: A marking device 1 includes a device main body 2, a running unit 10 having a plurality of wheels 10a that run the device main body in a horizontal direction, a marking unit 20 that performs marking, and a movable unit 40 that moves the marking unit in one horizontal direction relative to the device main body. The movable unit 40 moves the marking unit 20 between a stored position where it is stored in the device main body 2 and a protruding position where it protrudes outward from the device main body. When the marking unit 20 is located in the stored position, the marking unit 20 and the movable unit 40 are located inside the outer edge of the wheels 10a that are located outside the outer edge of the device main body 2 in a plan view. Also, when the marking unit 20 is located in the protruding position, the marking unit is located outside the outer edge of the wheels 10a in a plan view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
