To realize tailgating prevention by a small scale facility configuration.SOLUTION: A control unit 60 in a mobile object monitoring system 1 is provided with a door control unit 70 which causes a locking/unlocking device 84 to unlock a door 82 when a registered mobile object 30A is located in a first area 50 and non-registered objects 30B, 30C are not located in the first area 50, and causes the locking/unlocking device 84 to unlock the door 82 on condition that a predetermined operation is performed in the registered mobile object 30A when the registered mobile object 30A is located in the first area 50 and the non-registered objects 30B, 30C are located in the first area 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
