To provide a railway overhead wire pole capable of improving the degree of freedom of construction, being efficiently constructed with a simple configuration, and reducing the time and cost required for construction.SOLUTION: A flangeless joint 100 is provided at least at a joint part closest to a foundation ground 2 among joint parts of a plurality of steel pipe columns 10, the flangeless joint 100 fits a first steel pipe column 100A having an expanded pipe part 11 with a lower end expanded in a tapered shape to a second steel pipe column 100B having a contracted pipe part 12 with an upper-end part contracted in a tapered shape, from above. At the time of fitting, the first steel pipe column 100A and the second steel pipe column 100B are joined to each other in a state where an axial tension exceeding a designed axial tension acting from the first steel pipe column 100A to the expanded pipe part 11 fitted to the contracted pipe part 12 is introduced, and a straight part 10b positioned just below the contracted pipe part 12 in the second steel pipe column 100B constituting a base part 1a is placed on the ground side from a ground surface 2a of the foundation ground 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】施工の自由度を向上させることができるうえ、簡単な構造で効率よく施工でき、施工にかかる時間やコストを低減することができる鉄道架線柱を提供する。【解決手段】複数の鋼管柱10の継手部のうち少なくとも最も基礎地盤2に近い継手部にフランジレス継手100が設けられ、フランジレス継手100は、下端部をテーパー状に拡管した拡管部11を有する第1鋼管柱100Aを、上端部をテーパー状に縮管した縮管部12を有する第2鋼管柱100Bに上から嵌合させ、嵌合の際に、縮管部12に嵌合する拡管部11に対して第1鋼管柱100Aから作用する設計軸力を超える軸力を導入した状態で第1鋼管柱100Aと第2鋼管柱100Bとを接合する構成であり、基部1aを構成する第2鋼管柱100Bにおける縮管部12の直下に位置する直線部10bが、基礎地盤2の地表面2aから地上側に配置されている。【選択図】図1
