To provide a spring water intake device and a method that can reduce maintenance and cleaning work, improve construction difficulty, and improve water quality to prevent rainwater and low-quality shallow surface water from mixing with the water supply and natural water collection devices that use ground spring water.SOLUTION: The hydraulic pressure of ground spring water is maintained higher than a water pressure of rainwater or other surface water infiltrating into the ground by allowing water exceeding the quantity of water intake to overflow from the water intake structure, and contamination of rainwater or low-quality surface water from shallow parts into water service pipes or feed water equipment is prevented by maintaining the flow velocity of the ground spring water higher than the flow velocity of surface water infiltrating into the ground.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】地下水湧水を利用する水道や天然水採取装置への雨水や浅部の質の悪い表流水の混入を阻止する水質改善と、建設工事難度改善と、維持清掃作業の軽減を実現する。【解決手段】採取水量に余る水を取水構造からオーバーフローさせることにより地下水湧水の水圧を雨水など地表水の地下へ浸透する水圧より高い状態を維持して、湧水の湧き出す流速を地表水の地下へ浸透する流速より速い状態を維持することにより水道管内や給水装置への雨水や浅部の質の悪い表流水層の湧水の混入を阻止する。【選択図】図6
