To provide a locknut for a faucet which can be easily and properly fixed to a ceiling plate of a faucet main body.SOLUTION: A locknut 10 for a faucet for fixing a faucet main body 2 to a ceiling plate B by being screwed to an attachment leg 3 which protrudes downward through an attachment hole H of the ceiling plate B of the faucet main body 2 which is installed above the ceiling plate B has: a pair of halved nuts 11, 12 which are closable so as to be screwed to the attachment leg 3, and openable so as to be spread larger than a leg diameter of the attachment leg 3; and a lock tool 13 which can lock the pair of halved nuts 11, 12 in a closed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
