To enable authentication information to be easily managed when information medium for an electric lock is updated or registered.SOLUTION: An electric lock authentication management system 1 comprises: an information medium 4 to store authentication information 5; an authentication information acquisition part 15; an authentication information registration part 32 for the authentication information 5 required to unlock an electric lock 10; an authentication information collation part 34 for the authentication information 5; and a control part 20. The authentication information 5 includes object information imparted to an object 2 and personal identification information of a user 7. The authentication information registration part 32 can store personal update identification information for updating personal identification information along with the authentication information 5. The authentication information collation part 34 invalidates the personal identification information that is previously registered in the authentication information registration part 32 and registers the personal update identification information as the personal identification information on condition that the personal identification information in the acquired authentication information 5 matches the registered personal update identification information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
