To provide a coated body including a clear layer having transparency that does not conceal an underlying design and having calm massiveness with a mat feeling.SOLUTION: There is provided a coated body including a base material and at least two clear layers. The at least two clear layers each contain a light transmissive granular material having a median size (D50) of 10-200 μm. The amount of the light transmissive granular material contained in each of the clear layers is less than or equal to 35 mass %. 【課題】下地の意匠を隠蔽しない透明感を有し、かつマット感のある落ち着いた重厚感のあるクリヤー層を備えた塗装体を提供する。【解決手段】基材と、少なくとも２層のクリヤー層とを備える塗装体であって、前記少なくとも２層のクリヤー層はそれぞれがメジアン径（Ｄ５０）が１０～２００μｍの光透過性粒状物を含み、それぞれのクリヤー層中に含まれる前記光透過性粒状物の量は３５質量％以下であり、前記少なくとも２層のクリヤー層はそれぞれの平均膜厚が８０μｍ以下であることを特徴とする、塗装体である。【選択図】なし
