To provide a new technology capable of uniformly and efficiently applying carbonation treatment to steelmaking slag.SOLUTION: A method for producing carbonated slag according to the invention comprises supplying carbon dioxide gas containing carbon dioxide to steelmaking slag and subjecting the steelmaking slag to carbonation treatment, where in the carbonation treatment, granulated products of the steelmaking slag are crushed so that an average particle diameter D1 of the carbonated slag after the carbonation treatment is not less than an average particle diameter D2 of the steelmaking slag before the carbonation treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
