CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR SEISMIC ISOLATION STRUCTURE, AND THE SEISMIC ISOLATION STRUCTURE
To reduce labor and cost by reducing a material for building a seismic isolation structure.SOLUTION: A construction method is for a seismic isolation structure which comprises a superstructure, an understructure, a seismic isolator to be installed between the superstructure and the understructure, and a seismic isolation base to support the seismic isolator. The construction method for the seismic isolation structure involves: the understructure that comprises a recess part to house the lower part of the seismic isolation base; a grout-material-placing step to pour a grout material onto the bottom surface of the recess part; a bottom grout-material-filling step which fills the grout material between the undersurface of the seismic isolation base and the bottom surface of the recess part with the undersurface of the seismic isolation base pressing the grout material downward; and a side grout-material-filling step which makes the grout material flow into the space between the side face of the lower part of the seismic isolation base and the side face of the recess part and then pushed upward so that the grout material is filled in the space between the side face of the lower part of the seismic isolation base and the side face of the recess part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
