To provide a construction method which can improve practicability and reduce cost when an upper object is installed on an understructure.SOLUTION: A construction method is for an upper object installation structure which comprises an upper object, a grout material on which the upper object is installed, and a lower structure having a reservoir part to reserve the grout material. The construction method for the upper object installation structure involves: a grout-material-placing step to pour the grout material onto the bottom surface of the reservoir part; a bottom grout-material-filling step which fills the grout material between the undersurface of the upper object and the bottom surface of the reservoir part with the undersurface of the upper object pressing the grout material downward; and a side grout-material-filling step which makes the grout material filled to a level at or above the undersurface of the upper object with the grout material flowing up to the side surface of the reservoir part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
