PRODUCTION METHOD OF SAND-CAPPING MATERIAL
To fix carbon dioxide more efficiently and prevent elution of an alkali component even when placed in a water environment.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for producing a sand-capping material using steelmaking slag, the method comprising: a carbonation step of steelmaking slag carbonation by fixing carbon dioxide to the steelmaking slag having an average particle diameter of 7 mm or less; and a granulation step of adding a water-soluble resin as a binder component to the carbonated steelmaking slag and then granulating the steelmaking slag to which the water-soluble resin is added to form a sand-capping material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】二酸化炭素をより効率良く固定化させ、かつ、水域環境中に置かれた場合であっても、アルカリ分の溶出を防止すること。【解決手段】本発明は、製鋼スラグを用いた、覆砂材の製造方法であって、平均粒径が7mm以下の前記製鋼スラグに対して二酸化炭素を固定させて、前記製鋼スラグを炭酸化させる炭酸化工程と、炭酸化された前記製鋼スラグに対して、バインダー成分として水溶性樹脂を添加した上で、当該水溶性樹脂が添加された前記製鋼スラグを造粒して、覆砂材とする造粒工程と、を含む。【選択図】図1
