To provide a lifting device for a construction machine, and the construction machine, which has excellent storability of the lifting device in a vehicle and allows proper access to an upper structure.SOLUTION: The lifting device for the construction machine comprises: a ladder-shaped fixed part 21 attached to an upper structure (frame 4) of a construction machine (crawler carrier) 1 that has an upper structure on a traveling body 3; and a ladder-shaped unfolding part 22 that is movable relative to the fixed part 21. The unfolding part 22 configures a lifting device 20 so that when stored, it takes a stored state in which it overlaps with the fixed part 21, and when in use, it takes a deployed state in which it extends below the fixed part 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
