WATER SHIELDING DEVICE FOR SILL WATER DRIP
To provide a water shielding device for a sill water drip which has sufficient water shielding performance even in a state where a building is immersed in water, and can enhance the degree of freedom for design of a vent hole to an underfloor space, in the design of the water shielding device for the sill water drip.SOLUTION: Provided is a water shielding device for a sill water drip, wherein the sill water drip A has a vent hole 2 arranged between a sill of the building and a foundation supporting the sill and for communicating an underfloor space of the building and outside air. The water shielding device for the sill water drip has: a body 1 having the vent hole 2 formed therein; a water shielding plate 4 capable of opening/closing the vent hole 2; a hinge 6 for engaging the body 1 and the water shielding plate 4, and for allowing the water shielding plate 4 to rotate between an open position for opening the vent hole 2 and a closed position for closing the vent hole 2; and a float 5 arranged on the opposite side by sandwiching the hinge 6 and below the water shielding plate 4. When the float 5 is immersed in water, the float 5 moves the water shielding plate 4 by the hinge 6 from the open position to the closed position in a direction different from a movement direction of the float 5, and holds the water shielding plate 4 at the closed position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
