To provide a method for treating calcium aluminate slag so that the calcium aluminate slag generated as a by-product can be used as a cement admixture.SOLUTION: In a calcium aluminate slag treatment method, the calcium aluminate slag generated as a byproduct during metal refining is pulverized into a calcium aluminate slag powder and then subjected to a hydration treatment, wherein the surface of the powder is coated with a hydrate. Further, in a method of using calcium aluminate slag, the calcium aluminate slag powder obtained by the treatment method is used as a cement admixture.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】副産物として発生するカルシウムアルミネートスラグをセメント混和材として使用できるようにするための、カルシウムアルミネートスラグの処理方法を提供することである。【解決手段】金属精錬時に副産物として発生するカルシウムアルミネートスラグを粉砕してカルシウムアルミネートスラグ粉末とした後、加水処理することによって、当該粉末表面が水和物で被覆された粉末とすることを特徴とするカルシウムアルミネートスラグの処理方法。また、前記処理方法により得られたカルシウムアルミネートスラグ粉末をセメント混和材として用いることを特徴とするカルシウムアルミネートスラグの利用方法。【選択図】なし
