MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR MOUNTING MEMBER
To provide a method and structure for mounting a mounting member for fixing a face material that closes a building opening to a building structure.SOLUTION: A mounting member 10 includes a first mounting L-shaped material and a second mounting L-shaped material. Each of the first mounting L-shaped material and the second mounting L-shaped material has a horizontal surface that is engaged with and is locked in a groove formation direction of a T-shaped groove, and a vertical surface that is connected approximately perpendicular to the horizontal surface and protrudes outside the T-shaped groove. Vertical surfaces of the first mounting L-shaped material and the second mounting L-shaped material each have locking pieces that are engaged with each other while facing each other, and a retaining piece provided at an end opposite to the horizontal surface. With the vertical surfaces of the first mounting L-shaped material and the second mounting L-shaped material facing each other, the mounting member 10 is mounted to a face material, and the locking pieces are engaged with each other to form an engagement portion. A space having an approximately rectangular cross-section is formed between the engagement portion and the retaining piece, and an intervening object is held in the space, making it impossible for the engagement between the locking pieces to be released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
