To provide a water impermeability inspection method capable of testing water impermeability of the ground G.SOLUTION: The water impermeability inspection method is a method of testing water impermeability in the ground G under a dam 1. The method includes: a step of forming an inspection hole HD in the ground G at the upstream side of the grouting curtain GC formed in the ground G; a step of applying water pressure in the inspection hole HD; and a step of inspecting the water impermeability based on the water pressure change on a pore pressure gauge P placed downstream of the grouting curtain GC.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
