ROTARY JOINT
To provide a rotary joint capable of measuring a rotation angle with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A rotary joint comprises a flange, a cylindrical rotor having one end connected to the flange, a shaft having an outer periphery connected to an inner periphery of the rotor so as to be rotatable about the central axis of the rotor as the rotation axis and having a hole formed along the central axis, a rod having one end connected to the flange and provided in the hole so as to extend from one end side of the shaft along the central axis, an angle measuring unit connected to the hole from the other end side of the shaft toward the other end of the rod and measuring the rotation angle about the central axis between the rod and the shaft as the rotation axis, and a shielding member formed in a cup shape, having an outer periphery connected to the hole so as to be rotatable along the central axis and having the other end of the rod connected to its inner periphery, and shielding between the rod and the angle measuring unit within the hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
