CRESCENT LOCK
To provide a crescent lock having a mechanism for preventing problems in a crescent lock market, especially unintended unlocking and locking (accidental unlocking and erroneous locking) of the crescent lock.SOLUTION: In a crescent lock in which: a stop piece is provided that is formed in a substantially horseshoe shape consisting of circular and rectangular sections at end portions of a shaft extending into the pedestal; the rectangular section of the stop piece is configured to interfere with an inner wall of the pedestal for restricting an operation lever to rotate; a first lock mechanism interfering with the rectangular section of the stop piece is provided in the pedestal; and such a lock mechanism is configured to be operable from the outside of the pedestal, then there is provided, for solution, a second lock mechanism by which the operation of the first lock mechanism is configured to be restricted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
